GMO Labeling: Update on Current Strategy and Action

The battle to label GMOs is definitely on the way to victory. Results from Washington State Initiative 522 may prove to be the win that will change the picture, or it might be the beginning of a long legal process. A win in Washington may also trigger a federal labeling law that can eclipse or pre-empt state laws. Where we will need to put our incredible citizen activist powers at the time of this workshop is unknown, except to maintain our right to know what is in our food.
