Simple changes in farming and headquarter operations can help growers achieve significant cost and energy savings. Participants in this workshop will learn about sources of technical and financial assistance, including rebates, incentives, and alternative energy options for the farm. Speakers from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), and a local producer will share information and experiences as well as answer your energy conservation questions. Information will also be provided on farm and headquarter energy audits and management plans, including a host of energy-saving practices offered through NRCS or PG&E.
